Utterly collapsed, full of remorse, Peter clasps his mantle : a bundle of misery, pathetic but not desperate.
A huge yellow crescent hangs in the air like a cry. A cloud, heavy as a "rock" weighs on Peter, on whom Christ will build his church.
The Lord, with the promise of the resurrection in himself, turns and looks lovingly upon Peter.
