Tenth Station : Mary and John

Nailed to the cross, looking into infinity, Christ presents the people with the last, but also the noblest that he has : His mother, His friend.
Mary and John hold out their hands to each other. In the left upper corner the good murderer's hand clutches the cross-beam and touches Jesus. He was the first believer at Golgotha. Christ promises him Paradise. Promise of the resurrected, forgiving Christ.
